The most trusted man in America. Ah, the simpler, innocent days when America sat down every night, turned on Walter, and sat for a half hour and sucked up the nightly network socialist crap.

Time to grow up. Time to put away childish things. Including Captain Kangaroo and Walter Cronkite.

Well tell me Ann. What's does that say to you about Walter Cronkite?

Ann.
Regarding Walter Cronkite and Clinton: What else would you expect from a liberal socialist? There is a philosophical match between the two.

Darrell

<<He's a classic American.....supports his president..... only an action of treachery on the Chief Executive's part would cause him to do otherwise.>>

How did the Presidency become so politicized? Even though I didn't vote for him, I supported Carter (and Bush, and......) because I trusted their motives. That's not the case with Clinton, but I still would support him if I didn't think he had already done many things that were detrimental to this country. You don't need the litany of what those actions were - you hear them every day. Has he actually done these dastardly things (I'm not referring to zippergate)? I may never know, but my trust in Clinton is so low that the other actions seem credible. That being the case, I would still count as a classic American, because I supported Clinton until I thought he had committed an act of treachery - specifically allowing the Chinese to get their hands on missile guidance technology and supercomputers.
