Actually Michelle, I was more shocked to hear Chuzz talk about considering shorting a stock.

Chuzz---I always thought you were a purely buy and hold investor. I guess you're now also a sell and hold.<g>. btw, that example post you gave was a very good one. I'm not a shorter but I think that too many people short based on absolutely nothing or the wrong reason having nothing to do with company fundamentals.

I wish more people would leave posts like that when they want to express their bearish opinions. Not that I have any problem w/bearish opinions. But I find that here on SI one has to be particularly careful of who they listen to because there are many who have a vested interest in seeing a stock go down. (i.e. they are already short). Obviously the same holds true in reverse.....it just seems so much more prevalent from the bears on the threads I happen to frequent.

Michelle, I will shock you even more -- I eat quiche, and once read a romance novel! (Quiche was better. After reading the romance novel I understand why so many women buy cloth covers for the paperbacks. This was a major insight into female porn.)

It's very hard to be a vegetarian and eat out, so I suspend vegetarianism when I eat out -- which I rarely do. I am a vegetarian for health reasons rahter than religious fanaticism.

TTFN,
