Something interesting I've noticed is that often times people base their opinions on whether a company is having a good quarter based on hearing about a few deals or talking to a few people. ( David, I'm not saying you're doing this here but it does happen often here on SI). In vntv's case I'm wondering what the definition of a good quarter actually is. This is a serious question,btw. Obviously it has to do with license fees vs. services, but how much do they need to have it be considered good? It's hard to think they're having a good quarter. Somewhere I heard they've lost a lot of their more senior sales reps. Could be just a rumor, I don't know. But it seems logical to me given the situation. Has anyone else heard that?
