Hey, his buddy/former partner Neuberfielder or whatever was also long US market last Oct [short SPX puts] - just before he was taken out. Guess, it runs in the family. -g-

PS. somebody just posted it was not Soros, but the guy who runs one of his funds, Druckenmiller. FWIW he was long the market at open Oct 19, 1987, and reportedly flipped from 100% long to 100% short, and was subsequently questioned by investigators, since his trading was a good fraction of the day's total, i.e, he contributed much to the crash.

Whipsaw, Even more amazing is that people run to follow you when you just lost $3 billion in Russia. -g- Heck, I managed $10 billion all by myself, and nobody ever paid any attention to what I said. And I never lost $3 bill. Of course, had I been allowed to touch the money, I would have embezzled it. I hate custodians. -vbg-
