AC's points are very valid. I believe the BTO advantage AMGV will have is the opportunity for someone to walk into a Walmart store and sit down with a technician who will help them build up a system.

IMO, there will be two types of folks buying from the Walmart BTO site. The first group is those buying a computer system for the first time who don't currently have access to the Internet to order one and need help in defining a system (First Time Buyers). these are the ones who would order one from within a store.

The second group would be "power type users" who are upgrading, know their stuff, have the software, don't need the customer support and are looking to save $50-$75 they can throw at the next killer game. These are the ones who would be buying one on-line.

Either way, when ALL Walmart stores are ready and staffed to handle all the questions and inquiries, then the media blitz will start.
