Hi Scott,

I know why I don't trade the Globex..Thought about it before the close, going long.. but I turn on the computer to see Globex. I collect this after hours data on 2' and 13' to keep it seperate from
my regular hours data, which take up all my other time frames.

Anyway we are down 3 or 4 points from the close.. What I would like
to see in the morning is a very down opening and a turn around starting about 30-40 minutes from the open, and we might be off to
the races up..

Actually I turned on my internt computer to read Wazzu's (Wash.State Univ.) football message boards and came to check
the sentiment.. Still so bearish.. It can't be that easy.. It isn't
for me..

Read your post.. about exiting, hell I can't exit gracefully from
the market, a party, ...ANYTHING

Good luck tomorrow.. the Coug,,.. having a little heart medicine..
prescription- over the counter- available
most everywhere- Just ask for M-E-R-L-O-T

<how do you know in advance if it is going to be a dead day.>

Good point. I don't know either. Perhaps the best plan is to have a maximum daily loss plan as we discussed.

As far as the number of points on your losers you should keep track of what your average losing trade is, and then if it looks as if it's going to be higher than that on any given trade you will be more aware that your average is going to be crushed.

Hank is purely a day-trader, by the way, and will be of no help on position trades. He sees no use in being long or short overnight. He will occasionally do that with options, not spoos.

<I am curious how it would be handled with more contracts as well>

That is an interesting concept. You'd be surprised to know that a lot of people cannot trade as well using 10s and 20s as they can using 1s and 2s. Psychology, I suppose. But if you think about it, just trading 2s and picking up 10 points a week can make one a nice living.

Sorry I cannot get into this much more....it's the hour. For whatever reason I awoke thinking about the short I had on from 85. If it wakes me up I take it off, the heck with it. It must be because I won't be around to watch it in the morning and early afternoon. If I had a large gain or if I were here I would not care.

I wish I awoke 15 minutes later though. I covered at 1081 and now it's 79.30, just bounced off 78.40

My internal alarm clock definitely needs adjustment.
