Probably competition like Executioner.com for people who daytrade quite a bit.For people who want to beable to look at a market maker screen and beable to put in a bid at their price and see it show up on the screen as a new market maker, just like the executioner.com. If the best bid is 4 cents and the rest are under 4 cents, and the best ask is 6 cents, a person could use this sytem to put in a buy order for say 5 cents, that would show up as the new best bid. The other version they will be offering will still have a market because a lot of people are not happy with datek and etrade. I pay a minimum of $29 per trade with my broker so 21.95 doesn't sound so bad. Canadians can't use etrade or ameritrade or datek, or any of the other cheap online brokers.
