Favorite Monitors?

What are your favorite monitors and why?

I am in the market for 2 more 19" monitors to add to my Dell 1626 (21" Trinitron)

I am torn between the Viewsonic, Mag and Iryama.

Any suggestions?

Hi guy's
This is a great thread and have read every post from the time that I found it (almost the beginning)
Have to admit that about 90% is way over my head though :-)
Just finished reading Zuespaul's thread for multi- monitors - again !
Yesterday I went to two local computer "builders" and both will put together anything that you want in a new machine but unfortunately neither one seemed to know much about a multi-monitor set up.

I think the best place to start would be to explain what I am looking for in a new computer:
98% tradestation - 2% play
I would like to have 2-4 monitors
Do not want to use windows 98 - rather go with NT (never used NT but want the stability)
All monitors will be new and by the same manufacturer
64-128 mb ram should do the trick
Hard drive can be small - Maxtor seems to be well liked on this thread
CD-Rom - I only use to install software
Sound card - I only need a few beep's and buzzes
Modem 56k - no need for fax-voice mail and whatever else they can do
1.44MB floppy drive and "maybe" internal Zip drive -- Add $89
Intel P11 266 or 300

I found this for the Appian J3 - 4 port 16 mb $769
ttrc.com
This may not be the cheapest way to go but it doe's seem to be the easiest and it would have all the options that would be required for a trade station

If I go with separate cards and NT it looks like it would be less expensive but not being all that knolagable with puters it might not be worth the saving's
But if I do go this route :
Could I still have 4 monitors ?
Would each monitor only display what I wanted there or would everything just be spread across all 4 monitors ?
If I wanted to maximize a chart would it just be in the 1 monitor (like I want) or would it enlarge to all 4 ?
After shutting down the system and then restarting would everything be where I had it before or would I have to set this up every morning ( that would not be fun)

It would be great if you guys could come up with a list of products that would suit my needs for this new computer.
I will go back to Zuespaul's site and check out some of the other threads.

Sorry if this is to long and about all the questions !

Tim
