Intra day market updates - you will be able to run QuickScan on your database during the day on delayed data.

Terrific news. Thanks once again, Gary.

<<Intra day market updates - you will be able to run QuickScan on your database during the day on delayed data>>

This is a tremendous addition.

1. Are you going to make available a symbol-price-volume interim
file which users would download in order to update the interim delayed information to the QP2 database?

2. If so, could this file be in a format which would permit
users to benefit from it in their own analysis programs?

3. What might be the delay time? How often would this data be
changed or would it be, say, 20 to 30 minutes old on a continuous
basis?

Gary, re; Charting

I have the update from 7/22 (haven't done 8/25 yet), but when I turn on the 'colored' volume bars they don't seem to have colors consistent with the info from the help file. Specific example AM on 8/21 volume is greater than 8/20 but bar is red. You may need to have this checked, or am I missing something?

Thanks for this great product
Roy

Gary, Re: Printing scans

If possible, could you correct the (or add a) margin feature to the Print Scan Code function. When I print out a scan there is nearly no top or left margin, making it difficult to staple or bind the print out. I currently 'copy' and 'paste' to Word to get this feature.

Has it been considered to allow managing the saving of scans to user selected directories ( i.e. directories for MACD, RSI, NewHighs, etc.) or some other type of hierarchal method?

I have seen several programing editors that provide automatic indentation at each level of If, Then, For, etc. to help keep you from missing a EndIF or Next etc. statement. Would something similar this be difficult to implement?

Lastly (I think) what about 'global' variables?

As hard as it may be to believe, these are NOT complaints, just user friendly suggestions.

Thanks for your consideration and for a great product,
Roy

Gary, I just got home and tried to download today's data, after having downloaded yesterday evening the latest QP2 update. I am being denied access, saying that the userid and password that I've been using up until now are invalid. I tried calling your tech support number, but no answer.

What do I do?

HI GARY!

I found a big discrepancy between the new low count in Qp and on the Yahoo board: Qp has for today 575 new low on NYSE vs 1009 on Yahoo and for NAZ 555 nlows vs 1175 on Yahoo. Any idea where this come from. I was thinking of using the new low count as indicator but when the discrepancy is so big i can't trust it. Any ideas where this comes from? THanks in advance!

Stefan

Gary, re: scans

Opps, I thought my last post was it, but I've been writing scans today and thought of couple other items.

What about an ordinary 'Average' function?

Could you include Range in the Tokens list?

Thanks for getting on the downloads. Being in construction, I can realy sympathize with anyone trying to get good help these days <ggg>.

Gary

just got my QP2. setup went smooth as silk. Looks great so far

have one question for you. I have several files in metastock and I need to know the easiest way to transfer the QP data into them without having to alter their content. Many trendlines are drawn and I would rather not draw them again.

I see in the QP2 owners manual there is a output to metastock compatible format. Can I just put each folder name into the window that says "output a list of symbols to a single directory" and thats it? I would try this now but don't want to mess anything up if you know what I mean.

looking forward to 2.1. delayed intraday scanning will rock

Gary, what's the latest timing on releasing an updated version with StochRSI? Are you still shooting for this month?
