OT: At this time, the focus seems to be on the weak enonomies. Maybe soon the focus will be on the strong US economy.

That's probably truer than a lot of American's realize. I can't speak for the political environment they're <almost> under now...but when communism ruled they had all kinds of work related and productivity problems due to alcohol and attitude. Somehow I doubt capitalism, or anything else will correct that mess in the near future.
