ColinD:

In the case of EDII limited and controlled disclosure seem as dangerous as non-reporting.

The company is using shares as currency to acquire other companies. Those shares belong in part to current shareholders. There has been no accountability or disclosure surrounding the details of the acquisitions, only vaguely worded press releases. The info provided on this thread state the company is planning to become fully reporting, however they have take no action to do so. This provides the opportunity to further delay reporting if the numbers are not favorable, and use a number of non-financial reasons for the delay.

At the end of the day nobody really knows financially what is going on. So we try to substitute other information in determining a comfort level. Other than the general uglyness of the stanchest EDII supporters and questions concerning the corporate history of the principal owners defined by Janice, the defining moment for me was the disclosure of the identity I gave to Guttman on what should have been a confidential phone discussion to Mitchell Vince 5 minutes after the call. At that point IMO something unusual was going on here. That coupled with heavy selling into planned and leaked news released made me uncomforable.

Do I think EDII is a scam? I believe they are real companies being acquired, but I am not clear whether they are profitable or which shareholders will be enriched when the smoke clears.
