I continue to be bemused by these types of statements. I have been reading that PSFT "has support" all the way down. First 40, then 35, then 32 now below 30, etc. Where do you get this? Is this some other form of chart reading? If chart reading is so wonderful, why do we keep falling through these support levels? (I am expressing an investor's frustration here moreso than at you and any regular reader knows I do not put much credence into chart reading).

as to your other question, the entire tech sector has not suffered. There was a general broad hit some weeks ago and a number recovered like DELL MSFT. Software companies have not done so well and ERP companies included. Who knows the real root cause - it appears to be a whole combination of factors, including earnings caution from PSFT competitors, Asia, fear that Y2K spending will affect ERP vendors, etc. Take your pick or read some financial writers.
