If you remember, I said that the K6-2-350 would be out by the end on August nearly a month ago....This after guys like Yousef said that AMD would never get to 333 much less 350. Obviously this wasn't a "wild guess". At this point, being nearly 10 weeks from my proposed release date of the 400, a lot can happen, but my best "guess" as you put it is the first week of November as the earliest. Of course, these may not be the "wild guesses" you think. <G>
Wasn't that you who said AMD wouldn't have volume on the 350 until the end of September based on Intels pricing...? I guess Intel misjudged. <G>
Intel may well try to move the Katmai into the first quarter of 1999.
Intel appears to be fighting for it's monopolistic life...
