Cool .. Re: selling almost all this morning...

I know we all have to take decisions, but if you want to come back, you may well be buying those shares back at a higher price than you sold at this morning. PSFT may never be as low again - and then maybe it might be again tomorrow.

If anyone wanted to sell and then get back in later, I think we have lost the opportunity - it was there in the 40 range.

Personally, as PSFT fell into the 30's, I thought it would turn around the next day or two and never look back. But it would start to fall again for some reason or other. Now I feel I am in too deep and it is too risky to sell and expect to buy back in for less than what I sell at. And since I want to keep PSFT as an investment, it doesn't make sense to me to dump it.

Obviously, if one thinks they can be further ahead 1, 2 years (whatever) taking PSFT dollars and investing in something else
then sell the sooner the better.

The problem is 2 years from now some companies will have done better and some will have done worse. And we come back to the orginal notion of everything - picking the winners.

My situation is that I don't have time to find other winners right now and I know PSFT is a winner.

Good luck to you and let us know how things work out.
