In addition to those efforts, AMD is taking its message directly to large corporations. Company representatives have begun lobbying IT managers to consider adopting K6-2 CPUs in office PCs, said Dana Krelle, vice president of marketing for the computation products group.

Krelle said AMD expects more notebook vendors to support the CPUs this year. Only Compaq and CTX currently use K6 chips. "We will be adopted more and more in the mobile space in the coming months," he said.

You have gone out on the limb on this one, Kash ... Hope AMD can produce
those 350mhz parts. If there are margin problems, then this will be a
repeat of the .35um 233mhz fiasco ... You should watch this closely, IMHO.
