Adaptec share price is around 10 to 11 lately

adpt 710 mio $ cash
114 mio shares
6,21 $ cash / share

that means You buy a share around 4 to 5 $ really. What P/E is that forward? Five maybe! looks like a buy to me.

The large-cap stocks that have provided much of the Nasdaq market's buoyancy were the day's biggest losers.

''What I'm finally seeing is the catch-up of big-cap stocks to the downside, just like the small-cap stocks, which have been totally decimated,'' said veteran money manager James Awad.

''The Nasdaq is in the capitulation stage of the large-cap stocks and people are selling anything to build liquidity,'' Awad said.

Looking forward, Awad said he would avoid the stocks on the Nasdaq 100, the largest-cap stocks traded, and ''look toward small-cap stocks because some are at their cheapest levels since 1973.''

With a real P/E areound five I agree totally for adpt, which I'm long, since long.

Thanks for the positive comments -- it's good to hear something positive in these doom-and-gloom days. I'm not going to look too closely at what you way -- just bask in the idea that there is at least some good news around! <g>
