If Bob happens to be wrong this time, we must not forget that he is only human.

He is entitled to make a mistake now and then.

Pete, as we know, Brinker said we had a buying opportunity below DOW 8650, and 1100 on the S&P. I believe that his timing model has a +/- 3% accuracy range. Given this, the lowest DOW figure that we should see is 8650*(1-.03)=8390.50. Today we closed at DOW 8165.99 (prelimary figure from CNBC). So, this is 224.51 DOW points below Bob's estimate. What's you take on the situation? Are we now on that "long slippery slope"? By the way, the DOW is now down 12.7% from its high of 9354. I guess this makes an intermediate correction.

Thanks for your comments.
