I could be totally washed up but I recall McGinn saying that if they wanted to do an acquisition, they'd do it when they wanted to; point being that they aren't sitting around waiting until Oct. Also said that they liked the tack they'd taken to-date; the buy "little" niche companies to fill in the cracks (what I call the Cisco approach). This makes sense to me since Lu seems to have the capability to develop virtually whatever it wants. Sometimes, of course, it's cheaper to buy than to make. I'd like to hear a good case made for why Lu should buy Asnd. I certainly could be missing something here. Regards. ...Tim
