What the header clearly states is this: "If you want information, try another thread... you won't get it here." E'lane, you cannot deny that this statement is untrue. I personally read this thread for information concerning DGIV, because I know I can't get much of it on the info thread. Many, many posts here are what I would consider relevant to DGIV. Now, you and I personally don't mind having the DD mixed with the chat because we've gotten to know eachother, and enjoy one another's company. So, for us, it's not inconvenient to read through the thread and see postings from our friends and posts about DGIV specifically. However, the fact is that many lurkers/newcomers are not interested in the personal postings, all they want is the "meat" (Which we've established, does exist on this thread). So then, what it comes down to is this: By separating our DD from our Chat... we are catering to the new investor. This is, IMHO, the underlying issue which needs to be addressed.
