Hurrah, Susan...you confirm my two major points:

a) the only people who will likely benefit from not liquidating PRDM are PRDMians. (I'm sure no one there is giving up their salary to "save" the company.)

and

b) just because your stock isn't worth zero on the market doesn't mean it isn't worthless to you. Hence my reasoning that I perfer it to officially go "worthless" so I can write it off without having to incur the cost of selling it.

I didn't throw away my proxy. I voted "no" on all items. The interesting thing is that they don't seem to have a record of my vote. So they (employees) keep calling to tell me to vote, and that they are sending new materials, and that I could even change my vote on the second proxy (why would they say that?). So, when my new materials arrive, I will dutifully vote "no" again.
