I don't like Cramer my self, but as a trader he's good. He's also a very smart man who does his homework. I hope he's wrong about PSFT, because I own some.

My guess is Cramer took/takes his Psft short off today.

Melissa, you're ranting about the inanity of market timing and technical analysis! Note that there was not one word said about the fundamentals of the company or the psychological effects of the crumbling Russian economy.

I know you are a long term investor. There is nothing fundamentally wrong with this company or with the industry. This kind of thing happens periodically, and over the long run is a non-event.

A nice scotch and a romance novel will do much to help you demeanor!

Regards,
CTC

The problem I have with him particularly on ERP stocks is that I don't think he understands anything about this sector.

Oh man do I agree with this statement about Cramer. Cramer would be good but he tries to selectively pick stocks in a sector (enterprise sw in this case) and he has no concept of the business etc. His vision into sector level issues is good, and oh yeah hes entertaining. BTW I heard the performance of Cramers hedge fund is way under what my fund does so I think hes on CNBC because hes a showman period. Cramer once made a prediction on the enterprise space entirely on a comment that came from Rmdy management. Rmdy is barely an enterprise vendor imo. I think Cramer needs to qualify his statements.
