Last,
With the huge home sales numbers, and the dollar so strong, do you have any thoughts on PIR at this level as a position trade?
They buy their products from Asia with dollars, which should increase their margins. With rates this low, the housing market is flying.
Also looking at BBBY, but the pe on PIR makes it a little more attractive in this environment. Would appreciate your take.

LastShadow, glad you created a forum for position trading. That marketgems stuff has been getting too fast for me recently.
Did you buy any of those stocks you mentioned this morning ? Banks looked cheap, but got hammered again.
I checked a lot of charts this morning. They are screaming "short me" or "stay away"...

Sometime in the next day or so, I will post a list of stocks, which in addition to other criteria, are still above their 200 dma, which at least to me, says that they can still find some support if the market continues to tank.

But this will beg a question that I'd like to here an answer to, namely, what indicators do you look for to signify a support level. In my example, I'll use the 200 dma. I'm sure others have their own ideas.

These are challenging days, the tools have to be polished.

Right now, I need a glass of wine.

David

LS,

I appreciate your note. Please understand I wasn't trying to upstage you in any way. I thought the Exide chart warranted more detail in explaining why I wouldn't want anything to do with it.

I'm not familiar with your work on the other threads that I've been reading about here. But, with time, I hope to get very acquainted with you and your work.

I would also hope to be a worthy contributor here. Great idea for a thread! Thanks for starting it.

Ken
