Gordon, what you and Carl are overlooking is some of the great information available on Raging Bull: ragingbull.com I then asked him about the blurb in the Reporter that stated PanAmerican was being investigated by the SEC. He did not know anything about an SEC investigation. He mentioned the Reporter is heavily affiliated with the PUP party and that they are known to falsify stories. I believe this is a quote from one of the your recollections of your conversation with John Schmitz. Doesn't on the face of it look like the PUP according to the rest of the information in that post (read the whole thing) is going to be very receptive. ragingbull.com In one of my earlier posts, I have stated before that John has been using the picture of himself with Minister Elrington under false pretense. Minister Elrington is acing as John's attorney in a private sector non governmental relationship and not as a Cabinet Minister. In fact, Minister Elrington had to have been present in one of the weekly Cabinet meetings with Prime Minister Esquivel where they made the decision to publish the Official Government Press Release. If John made any promises to Minister Elrington, it was as his lawyer and not as Cabinet Minister. Minister Elrington and the Ministry of Housing has officially spoken via the government press release. Besides, in order for an agreement with the government for a mortgage banking license, it would require approval from Prime Minister and his Cabinet, Secretary of Housing, Governor of the Central Bank, and 3 sittings in the House of Representatives. All of Belize would know about it. -------------- Regarding the Reporter Newspaper, it is not the paper that is affiliated with the Opposition. Wrong again, LOL. If anything the Reporter is pro UDP. The PUP paper is the Belize Times. The current polls are 90% PUP to win. Was not smart to insult the PUP. Then I read these things in the very next post there. These comments here are, I believe, attributable to Dragonfire, but on the face of it I do know that the Belize Times has been very pro-PUP. So I think your speculation here with Carl may be just a little self serving. The fact that John Schmitz alleged attorney is no longer in the Government also can't be considered good, I would think.
