You worry too much.<g>

Stock bull:

Mutual Funds- I don't see it as a big problem as people will be back in droves once the market starts turning north again and it will. Also you got your IRA funds coming in like clock work and a lot of them don't even know much about the market and they only see the statements 4 times a year.Normally once they sign up for the thing and choose their allocation a majority of them don't even look at it closely, let alone change their allocation according to market conditions and this is lot of money we are talking about.

DELL's Volume-37 million traded today,oh sure but this is only approx.5.7% off the total outstanding shares and besides half of them were buys right? and a few shares on the buy side was mine.<vbg>

Bear market? Couldn't really care all that much about it either way as good companies will make money and their stock will appreciate in both Bear and Bull markets, granted in Bull one makes more and in Bear one makes a bit less and that is ok by me. I don't worry about TA or market timing or bull/bear markets, however I do worry about the fundamentals of the company and ours doesn't show any cracks as of yet, when they do I worry irrespective of whether it is a bull/bear market or whatever else.

Anyway this is my story and am sticking to it.<g>

Stock Bull,

Re: There was major selling in Dell today. Around 35 million shares. This is about 5.6% of the outstanding shares.

Actually it is quite a bit less than these numbers would have you believe. Remember that market makers buy and sell as intermediaries between the selling investor and the buying investor. They also buy and sell among themselves. So at a minimum the volume is overstated by 50% on the NASDAQ.

TTFN,
