Jack Van Impe. He doesn't believe in 2000 as it. But he sure does believe that those waiting and expecting such are going to be lifted out before the inevitable catastrophes from all angles of human, animal and plant life kick in.

Personally, I believe God showed me that the songbirds had 2, maybe three more breeding seasons, and they would be gone. I don't see any or hear any and I'm in what should be bird heaven.

I just have such a long list of things I keep track of to list them is silly.

But jack feels that humans will hang on here a la the descriptions in Revelatuions into 2006 according to his much calculated studies.

Remember that he and Rexella make a very adequate living on the end times teachings, and I keep that in account, but that is one man I like to keep up with. He's on that TBN, which I literally can hardly stand except for about 2 hours per 24. And I don't get it here, but the LaLonde brothers are even more right on with stuff that we just don't get in the regular media.

All of my more bizarre and far out conversations with co-=workers, etc., of even 5 years ago, I'm seeing famous people saying the same things. That is enough to put the fear of the Lord in me, for sure. Always hoped I was just a little off the wall with it all, but probably not. Sadly.

Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus, and He will.

Hi Bob,

And hello Jane as well. Caught your post here and would like to get back on the topic as well when time permits.
Just a comment on the Shroud of Turin, it is a one piece cloth which would have been used in a fashion not common with typical burial methods of that day to produce such an image. (At least not from what I have read of the customs of that day)
More importantly scripture itself refutes it being the burial cloth of Jesus as follows:
John 20
3 Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.
4 So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.
5 And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.
6 Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,
7 AND THE NAPKIN, THAT WAS ABOUT HIS HEAD, NOT LYING WITH THE LINEN CLOTHES, BUT WRAPPED TOGETHER IN A PLACE BY ITSELF.

My apologies for the bold print, I still cannot figure how to italicize.

Additionaly we can judge a tree by the fruit it bears as scripture tells us, and it breaks my heart to see video footage of people literally praying to this thing which we know God would not condone being idolatry.

What do you think?

God bless you both,
John
