You totally missed my point. Jones, the subordinate, made a complaint about Bill, the boss. She filed a law suit. Her lawyers tried to prove the pattern of behavior. Monica, a subordinate, was given job preference for sexual favors. Bill was asked about Monica. Bill lied.

Anita, the subordinate, made a complaint about Clarence, the boss. Clarance was asked under oath on national TV about his sex life. He was asked about dirty magazines, his love life with his wife, and many other "personal" matters.

So, based on this you deplore the treatment of Thomas.
