Thanks Dave, Interesting graphs. BTW, I note that each time I bring up the ODB page in "Explorer" I get a Microsoft Error message. It's not a handicap as all I do is acknowledge it and the "error" goes away, but you may want to check the HTML code.

I had a look at the 'Ugly Chart'; not pretty for sure.

I have a question; when you initially set up the AIM portfolio of Oil stocks, what was your best guess at that time regarding the prospects of those companies and the oil industry? Trending up, down, or flat for a while?

To my way of thinking, and I could be wrong, it would make sense to start a new AIM account only if one believes that a particular security is highly likely to trend up.

One conclusion I could draw from your 'exercise' and my own unfortunate experiences as well, is how important it is diversify among various sectors.
