Bill, Russia seems to be trying to talk it's way out of the crisis. Is there any hope, or just more hot air.
I've noticed that some of the press is blaming increased Gold sales from Russia as being responsible for the POG plunge.
So far I see no evidence of this. More Short's B.S. ???

Bill: BUSINESS WEEK magazine in its latest editorial calls for the world's lenders to write off a substantial chunk of their loans to Asia and Russia. They place the highest priority on the need to arrest the accelerating deflationary spiral. I suspect that gold and other commodities would rally sharply if such a plan were adopted.
