Gnosticism was around before Christ's time. You ought to go on to some topic you know something about.

It took hundreds of years of infighting for there to be any consensus at all about who was, or was not, a Christian.

JND Kelly's Early Christian Doctrine is a classic work on the subject. I've read it, don't think you have. Go lecture someone who can't tell the difference.
