I agree with the spirit of your first four paragraphs, though some of your fine points are a little fuzzy. The fact is though, you know nothing of the actual issues that I will be raising about David. And of course, David's trying to mislead this forum about what the issues are. I won't discuss the issues here, so he will continue to mislead you here -- at least for as long as he can. There's nothing that will stay my course in this matter and the more he blusters, swaggers and misrepresents here, the less good it will do his cause in the end. Your comments simply don't apply to the actual issues, though it's nice of you to have an opinion anyway. :-) This is getting repetitious. I won't respond to the next several people who think they know what they're talking about in this matter, and don't. Especially since I won't address the issues here, I should let David continue to lead you astray and just make a record of it all, I suppose. If anyone has any issues about David they'd like to share with me privately, they can feel free to communicate privately, though. By the way, in case anyone wants to check David's latest lie: ask SI if Jill has a record of the Private Mail posted here. What they can have is mail sent to them purporting to be private mail posted here. Linda

Thanks sandie. I have always tried to do right by people and would like to continue but this episode has made me wonder whether it is worth it. I get nothing out of offering DD on companies that I follow (other than some DD back from companies other people follow) but if the price to pay for doing this on SI is threatened charges, is it really worth it? As far as viable situatuions-yes I was lead to believe some things on CMP from top people at the company. Sure earnings were going to be incredible. Sure, the audit is going fine-no problems. I made the mistake of believing these guys and got burned. I am back in now because as you know I am a value investor. CMP is now 9 times trailing earnings and 4 times prospective earnings. Crazy. I am also buying RENT at these levels as it is about 6 times earnings with a pristine balance sheet. HDIE will speak for itself. We all hear information about companies and pass it along. Sometimes it is true, sometimes not. If it was always true, we would all be rich! I don't know that many rich people
