Stockbull...I've decided to assume the Warren Buffet mentality.
Don't let the market concern you..... just stay with the companies you can count on for the long haul. Of course this is DELL. <vbg>

I'm about ready to unplug the TV.

Kemble and Chuzz keep telling us the same thing. It's the fundamentals that count: the management, the cash flow, the industry they're in.

As far as the article from the NYT and the assessment for end of year +/- from the beginning of the year.... that's for the Dow, the Nas, the S&P (maybe), but definitely not for DELL.

I can remember the doom and gloom last October where news commentators were reporting that the sky is falling. This too shall pass. In the long term, where else are people going to get the greatest return on their investment. The bond yields are low and getting lower. Gold is still at the low end. In the final analysis, the stock market is the only place for real growth (somebody correct me if I'm wrong). The important thing to remember is to invest in top notch companies. The top dow 50 constantly outperforms the bottom 450. This is especially true now, where before this most recent debacle there were more companies at new all time lows then ever before. I have to believe that DELL is an investment magnet. People who know it will keep the faith, people who watch it with envy (see some of the other threads where all you hear is jealous envy of it's performance)will eventually find some cash to invest in it.

I believe that as long as people have money in their pensions, keoghs, IRA's etc... they will eventually place (a portion of) their money in the market.

In short, I'm a believer.

BTW, the Globex futures are up as of 9:00 PM sunday night.

Best of luck to all

David
