Hey Arnie: My son in law speaks well of the functionality of the NXTL phones and how they are used in dispatching trrucks in their transmodal operations around Oakland. But he says that the NXTL is very unresponsive when it comes to equipment service calls. Are these things maintained by reps. or by the company.? What is their recourse when no one gets back to them in 2 or 3 weeks?

John

Arnie: <<As I understand it, B Band = about 10% of the A Band.>>
Truthfully, I don't know. The table provided in the article (Top LMDS Bidders By Net Bids) doesn't distinguish between Bands. I know that Nextlink dropped out of the bidding for some East coast licenses because the cost was to high per POP. Even though I have boundless faith in CM and his associates, I will dig into past articles and see if I can puzzle it out.

BTW, Vince Farrell on CNBC this morning, likes RII. Its spin-off (later this year) value of $13 will allow it to borrow from banks. He believes Wayne will turn it around and that it will pay off in a couple of years.

David Faber just reported that Bear Sterns is bullish on oils. Farrell thinks the analyst at BS is a good one, and he likes the oil sector as well. Yeah!
