So the key to successful Reg S investing, if you are one of the overseas investors, is to make sure before you get in the deal that the company really, really stinks!

And, in those cases where the insiders (company officers and directors) are self-dealing, and are in someway connected to the overseas "investors", they can help insure the success of their Reg S "investment" by exhibiting ineptitude, putting out bad press releases, breaking promises, etc.

I always wondered how the management of some of these companies could be SO stupid. Maybe this explains it - they're actually really, really clever.

Where do I sign up? :)

LOLOLOLOL!

Thanks - I think I understand now. Don't you have to be a MM to buy short? If that's the case then the Reg S/D investors must have a bunch of MMs to collude with. That would account for the rise in stock price just before a reg S to induce individuals to invest.
Funny thing is that Dougie would always be part of the good news before such a rise in price. Is he doing the same now?
