Pez,

I think Clinton is guilty of perjury, obstruction of justice, witness tampering in the sex scandal. Because it is a sex scandal does not IMO excuse him. ER

<<Tax evasion is against the law .Consenting sex isn't>>

No comment in direct relation to Clinton, because I don't know the laws in the various places he may have had such sex, but consensual sex may be against the law - some states still have laws against adultery and against oral sex, and many have laws against sodomy (which includes oral sex) as well as public sex (remember the case where a neighbor was peeking into someone's window and saw them having sex? The neighbor wasn't charged, but the couple having sex was), homosexual sex, etc.

<<can't you see what a bad precedence this would set?>>

Would letting a President be immune from the law set a better precedent? A good example of this is the behavior of some people that have diplomatic immunity. They can literally get away with murder. Because they know that, the some diplomats behave in an amazingly reckless fashion. Knowing you can get away with something makes people take greater risks. Also, we don't want to set that kind of example "for the children".
