Consider the lack of an AGP slot on the ASUS P2L97 when comparing to the ABIT
board. Also the ABIT BH6 uses the BX chipset whereas the ASUS P2L97 uses the LX
chipset. The BX chipset supports slower processors as well as the faster 350 to 550?
CPU's

Wow - never thought that I would be in to this stuff !
I checked 2 different sites and they both say that the ASUS P2l97 have 1 AGP slot.
But let me see if I got this right :
If I go with the ABIT BH6 that uses the BX chipset I would be able to change the CPU to something faster down the road.

OK sounds good to me - ABIT BH6 with the P11 - 266 at $361.97 or the 300 at $ 409.97

I do not think NT 4 supports AGP...??
If I go with the Appian card I would not need the AGP slot right ?

Is there another MB that would be similar to the ABIT BH6 that I could look for at the computer show ?

This could be fun !
Thanks for all the help guy's

Tim

Is there any major differences between the ABIT BH6 - BX6 - LX6 ?
The only thing I see is the # of PCI slots
