Clinton is using his secretary to manage his relationship with Lewinsky and to assist in his cover --- she is assisting in brokering the relationship. I would consider it similar to pimping. Let the pervert do the dirty work himself.

There are a lot of other issues to discuss. But they won't get resolved in seven months or two years or four years. Get real. Clinton has no solutions to any problems. He claims that we need a greater teacher-student ratio for better education. Only 57% of teachers are certified to teach the subjects they teach. His proposals are primarily designed to buy votes from specific voting blocs, such as the NEA. You're not going to get any serious response to issues from Clinton and other politicians. They have no clue about the problems in this country --- they only know how to throw money around.

As for "Sanity Check", the president's response to this issue caused it to grow in proportion. Lies and stonewalling will always draw more heat and light to a subject. Of course, if one is not interested in the corruption and gross incompetence in the leadership, then you need to get a Reality Check.

<<There are a lot more important issues to discuss and resolve. >>

Maybe, maybe not, depends on your point of view. Clinton's integrity and believability are central to his ability to perform his office. If no one believes him, they will be unwilling to cooperate with him in developing meaningful domestic or foreign policy. For example, in Iraq, we push for sanctions and tough inspections policies (we were the ones that insisted the palaces be open for inspection), but behind the scenes we stop the inspections from taking place. Another example related to domestic policy - let's say you made a deal with the President to keep spending under control in order to help pass a balanced budget, and then the President threatened to bring government to a halt if you don't increase your current spending propsals beyond the limits you previously agreed to.

The questions surrounding the President's integrity and truthfulness are absolutely central to resolution of the other issues you wish to have discussed.
