The defenses "consentual sex between adults" and "it's a private matter" are permeating this thread from Clinton's supporters. No matter what facts or proof are presented about perjury, obstruction, harassment, or abuse of power, Clinton supporters will always fall back on these two convenient alibis.

The White House invented these alibis and has successfully sold them to the dumbest two-thrds of this nation's population. The minds of the Clinton supporters on this thread are not capable of absorbing more.

I think you make some good points. Your certainly not going to get from me an argument that Clinton is a strong leader or a good President. Personally, I deplore his hidden radical liberal economic agenda: tax and spend. All I'm saying here is that there have been a number of Presidents in the past who have had extra-marital affairs ( FDR comes specifically to mind here ) and their ability to lead the country and do what is best for the Nation has not been affected by these extra-marital affairs. There need not be a correlation between a person fulfilling his or her professional responsibilities as a Public Servant and the way they operate sexually. I know that if your a member of the " Moral Minority ", these extra-marital affairs are quite disturbing. But one thing need not have anything to do with the other. I was arguing over 6 Years ago that Clinton was deceiving the American electorate by posturing himself as a New Democrat or centrist, while in point of fact he was a closet radical liberal. I think we disagree over the standards by which we should judge a President.
