Ausdauer, IMHO the press release was a on-event. The judge could not dismiss the case unless it was groundless on face ... impossible given that SanDisk has won similar suits in the past. The judge ordered SNDK to "reverse engineer" the Lexar product so that he would have a point-by-point list of potential infringements. Finally, Lexar's request for an expedited decision is "politically correct" for a party claiming innocence.

When you boil it all down, everything is going pretty much as one would expect.
