Massachussetts drops out of settlement talks. Seems like more posturing... I suppose it is the states' turn, after all, RJR and BAT left the table for the time being.

OT - Ralph, I do not actively follow gold stocks, I do actively follow gold. Personally, I am staying away of all commodities for the near-term as their prices are plummeting across the board. Gold is extremely depressed in value, and doesn't seem to be showing any signs of improvement as there is no big buying, nor are there rumors of anyone buying Gold.

That does not mean that I'm not interested. However, I'd probably go out and buy the commodity, rather than a gold stock. If things get that bad, which I don't think they will, but if they do, gold will be a lot better to own.

Gold? In the present environment of Deflation? I see gold headed lower to 225-250$. How long is long term?
