Well....let's try this a third time. The last two times I tried to post, my computer F***** up big time.

This morning, at 8:30 cst, I got a call from an atty that needed to see me regarding a client matter. I said what the heck, come on over. So he does and by the time I get back on line, the market has tanked. I guess you all had fun without me.

Hindsight being what it is, indicates that I would have shorted at 9:45 and covered at 10:15 and then taken the rest of the day off. If I had not had my meeting, nor my computer troubles I could have told you all to do that. I am sorry about that.

Maybe next time.

Don't know where it is going from here, but the signs are not real good in my opinion. I agree with Patrick that the expecation of a rally produced the non-rally. Now will everyone expect a tanking and therefore produce a rally? I am inclined to think not. This market appears to me to have no strength and lots of sellers are waiting for their chance to unload some more into whatever rally appears at the doorstep. This morning it was only a few points.

Patrick,

Put a 5 minute on the SPOO and the BKX. Interesting divergence. If the banks have been leading and continue to lead, we are heading up. What do you think?
