I am totally long. I have long since cashed out far more than I put into out little start-up, so everything I get from here on out is a bonus. A very nice bonus, to be sure, but not an integral part of my financial planning / retirement package. I can wait many years if that's what it takes. Of course, I hope it will be much sooner <g>! I don't think that Adaptec, given its cash position, still a viable product line, and the management that was squandering cash trying to grow through ill-advised diversification out of the picture, is likly to go totally belly-up. I hope some day the market will resurge and take Adaptec back up with it. Meanwhile, I can wait.
