If one ever needed a reason to not be a short term trader or investor, the market of the past year is a good object lesson.

One question for those closer to the industry. I believe that most (all?) of the options that THQ issues to employees are issued at market price. If so:

Do you think a reduced stock price will motivate or discourage the average game developer?

I tried putting myself into their shoes and assumed I had options which are now out of the money, as well as the promise of new options with a significantly lower excercise price. Couldn't make a call one way or another.

What do you think? Or does it even matter?

CMGI is really getting killed, THQI is actually up!

More related is ERTS is getting killed also.

Someone is out there buying this junk stock called THQ today.
