Hi Bruce, There's time lag built into the Value Line figures. Usually a couple of weeks. If we used the current prices of the Best performers, then my Best/Worst Index would be a negative 1.9 instead of a positive 9.4. This single change (which will probably show up next week) would take the IW down to 43 and give us an IW Oscillator reading of minus 9! That's a bit more like what I expected to see this week. There were just 705 advances last week on the Nasdaq. Declining issues were 4648!!! 393 stocks remained unchanged for the week. Best regards, Tom
