You make a good point. I do think investors did take the ride down. This makes for good resistance levels, and if the market does continue to become bleak, this can make for more panic selling. I have not looked at specific charts on stocks, but I do think a bounce is possible tomarrow, more likely than the past couple attempts that failed. This IMO is important. I suspect many in the market will be anticipating a bounce this week, and very possibly tomarrow. If one is not found, I think we will see continued fear based selling. This will make 7000 possible in the near future.

Please correct me if I am wrong about the bounce scenario. Rebuilding my PC that had turned unstable on me forced me to blow away my market data. So I have only been peeking at those web based charts on indices that leave allot to be desired.

Interesting note about greed and fear:

It took the Russell 2000 four years to go from a low to a high.
Only took took 4 MONTHS to give back 60% of that run.
