Dell has dropped 30% from latest high. this is does normally, in the past.
assume the market panic adds another 10 to 20% pressure, dell goes down 40 to 50% to 80 or the split adjusted equivaletn. That would be my worst case scenario. I owe no money to any broker just now and will wait till Dell bounces. I have a hunch (feeling) we might see it 75 to 80 before it goes back up, given how it has behaved in the past and the additional panic out there. But I will wait until the market tells me Dell has bounced and is on its way back up. I hope I am being too pessimistic. I am just making this up as I go along, I am no visionary. But Dell is a money maker and superbly managed. So are Microsoft and Cisco and they are on sale.

DELL-icious,

I find it difficult to give LT credit for anything...

a) He said to buy gold. Gold is down about 10-15 points from where he told us that, in spite of the world-wide turmoil.

b) He told us to invest in Japan. Japanese market are way down from where he told us that, and the yen has also lost value.

c) He told us that DELL would lead the market declines. Actually, the market has been declining pretty strongly for some time now. DELL had a new high last week, and closed the week higher than it started. That doesn't qualify as "leading the market down", IMHO.

d) He claims that DELL will go to $20 by January, and single digits by next summer; when I asked him to back his opinion concretely (like 100 shares of CSCO, INTC, MSFT), he adroitly back-pedaled.

No I don't give LT credit for anything except being a "bitch slapped" (his words) POS-obsessive.

regards, 3.

Dell did not lead the market decline.
It followed, and very grudgingly. Sure it got into the spirit and moved fast today, but...give credit where its due.
