Clinton was the immoral, draft dodging person the majority of voters elected. Ask me (and the majority of Americans) if I care who Clinton slept with? I could care less. That he smoked pot or not or avoided a draft to fight an ill-advised and immoral war? That is a very un-pleasant part of American post WWII history.

I think the prosperity of the country has far less to do with anything that government does than it does with things such as the end of the cold war and efficiencies of computerization. I agree with the republican positions of lessening government - in fact I may be radical in my belief that many functions of government should be privatized or automated. Strip the government down to the core and decentralize Washington! That is the future but now we have the reality that the status quo and confidence have been damaged.

I'm sure that many people don't agree with my political views - isn't that what a democracy is about? But the fact is that for the first time in history the Presidency has been prosecuted primarily on the grounds that the office-holder snuck around. If he did other things to get to the office, then that should have been proven and the office shouldn't have been dragged down into a moral abys in an attempt to get at it. "Look out for what you wish for or you may get it."
