Yesterday we discovered on the Nevada State Dept site that there was now a listing for a MOUNTAIN RESOURCES, and that Jack Uselton was the President. The date of incorporation was April 29, 1998.

Today I found out that when Jack first approached Marc Tow about obtaining the properties, the plan was to form a corporation called MOUNTAIN RESOURCES and the WV land was to go into that corporation, and then at some point in time, have Mountain Energy absorb Mountain Resources. Marc Tow set up Mountain Resources for Jack, but the wheels apparently ran slow getting the corporation official in Nevada, so Jack funneled the WV properties straight into MTEI.

This is the version that I got from Marc Tow. He read on the board where the Mountain Resources was being talked about, so he called me late this afternoon to clarify it.

No 7 million users and NASA and Corel and Digital are behind it but it's a toy? Growth is phenomenal for a toy. Apple computer and the Commodore were toys. Trash 80 systems were not that great and DOS is less than business like. But look where they went.

Well, it's a toy with its present GUI front end and mish mash documentation and installation systems, RPM notwithstanding, but it could be improved. Let's face it, SUN Unix would be unfathomable to most people but it's rather successful. (SCO Unix would leave them in tears.)

There are a few uses for Linux in the biz network world. It is a formidable system and has many adherents. In some ways it is not ready for prime time. But I will bet you some smart people could make some money on it. I may know a way.
