Close, actually it took 26 years to return to the 29 peak and that was only accomplished by changing the composition of the indexes several times.

Sorry but I see the markets taking less than 18 months (after Y2k phantom hiccup) making new highs. The driving force behind these markets (technology) is not a passing fad. Markets merely accelerated off course and returning to sanity. One big hiccup. Or sneeze. Gezundheit!!
