True on the funds but they're pretty experienced in these matters. Over the past year we've seen a phenomenal increase in individual investors using E*Trade and the like. With all the money that's obviously been invested this year it wouldn't take too high a percentage of these individual investors taking profits or selling out of fear to create what we've seen over the past week or so. Oh well, ABC is currently running a special on Nightline. They went to some bar that was "the home" to a bunch of very seasoned players. One was quick to point out that in the nearly 200 years of records the market historically returns an equivalent return of 10% - 11% per year on sound investments. Someone also pointed out that today didn't even make the "Top 20" as far as single-day percentage losses for the DOW.
