You should alias the rm command to something harmless. Unix really takes a 100 hours of real work before you can trust yourself around it. You cannot just hit ctrl-alt-del on a lot of systems. You must of a shutdown or halt. Real important. Solaris is a real dog. Nobody likes it. But it is in wide use. If Linux had good GUI then SUN would be in real trouble. This may happen soon. You could say that KDE was ok. I use FVWM95. I hate Linux's implementation of OpenLook or Openview. It looks like it but the similarity stops there. Have fun. mailto:echarter@vianet.on.ca
